Payment Information
I am a private-pay therapist and do not bill insurance directly. Many clients use superbills I provide to request out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance companies. I also accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards for therapy sessions. In compliance with the No Surprises Act, every client receives a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of therapy before starting services, so that fees are transparent from the beginning.
Sliding Scale & Equity Commitment
Healing should should be both sustainable and accessible. My practice uses a community-supported model that balances full-fee and reduced-fee sessions to increase access while maintaining high-quality, relationship-centered care.
Sliding scale rates are based on a 60-minute session. Longer sessions (75 or 90 minutes) are prorated at your selected rate.
A portion of my weekly caseload is reserved for sliding scale clients, and one session each week is held as pro bono for clients with significant financial barriers. Sliding scale spots are limited and offered based on availability.
If you’re unsure where you fall on the scale, I invite you to reflect on your current financial situation and choose a rate that feels both sustainable and respectful of your access and privilege.
